Certification Benefits:

■ Trainees, certified for TES tea etiquette professionalism and specialism, have rights for training and assessing; in addition, trainees also are entitled with rights of TEP authorship for Instructors and Organizations on Certification.

■ Trainees authorized with TEI Tea Etiquette Instructor, enjoy rights of training and assessing from the examiner when taking TES Tea Etiquette Training and Certifying. Furthermore, trainees also have rights of TES authorship for Instructors and Organizations on Certification and the rights of developing, modifying and improving TES Certification Criteria, Test Questions of Certification and Teaching Materials for Certification.

■ Trainees, certified with TEE Tea Etiquette Expert, enjoy lifelong honor under distinguished employment, and are permitted to join in Committee of Tea Etiquette Expert with the supreme permission as the examiner and supervisor, have rights of drafting, modifying and improving Certification System, Certification Criteria, Certification Exam Questions, Teaching Materials for Certification, and take responsibilities for related issues authorized by the Committee.

■ TES and TEI could organize tea parties, exchanges and activities at its location on levels of the region, country or state in the name of the Committee upon the approved application in advance.

■ Trainees, certified with TEP, TES and TEI, are all available to be recommended for employments for the Committee or the authorized organizations of the Committee. And the authorized organization of the Committee shall give privilege for employing certified TEP, TES and TEI trainees.

■ TEP, TES, TEI and TEE certified trainees have priorities for enrollments and access of raising prestige during Tea parties, exchanges and activities at its location on levels of the region, country or state in the name of the Committee.

Certification Acquisition:

Only TEE Tea Etiquette Expert could be acquired by recommendation and approval from Expert Committee, the rest certificates TEI, TES and TEP all require Exams of different levels.

Certification

TES Tea Etiquette Specialist Certificate is only available for trainers to take enrollments after acquiring TEP Tea Etiquette Professional Certification in addition to one-year engagement for tea culture related works and activities. Three year after TES Certificate acquired, trainees are available for applying TEI. The above mentioned requirements are not for the examinees permitted by the Association.

Certification Validity

TES Certification is valid for 3 years

TEI Certification is valid for 3 years

TEE Certification is of lifelong validity

Language for Test:

Available for simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese, under development;

Forms for Exams:

TEP Certification combines theory test (2hrs) and performance test (30min)

TES Certification combines theory test (2hrs) and performance test (1hr)

TEI Certification adopts teaching assessment with the total teaching duration no less than 30mins

Comprehensive Assessment:

On-line exam is prevailed through the network of Association, or the comprehensive assessment that combines self-made exam from appointed TES and under the supervision from the Association.

Theory Exam:

At the specified time and location, examinees shall log in the test server for on-line theory exam. The exam system will be closed when the exam is over.

Performance Test:

On-Site Test:At the specified time and location, examinees shall enter into the test site for tea etiquette performance with oral explanation at the same time. In order to ensure fair assessment, Supervisor of the test organize examiners for grading at the site, and it is the Certification Department to collect all the assessment opinions from examiners for approval or not. The whole performance will be recorded for archiving.

Distance Test:In case examinees are not available for specified time and location, independent application for distance test of performance shall be applied. The Certification Department shall contact the local office that having the access for distance test so as to organize on-site tea etiquette performance for these examinees in the spirit of being just, fair and open. Performance and tea etiquette of examinees shall be certified together with their explanation during the performance. The whole process will be recorded and transferred to the specified e-mail box, and it is the responsibility of Supervisor for organizing all examiners to take distance assessment for the recorded performance.

On-Site Assessment:10 days before the exam, examinees will receive the teaching assessment topic, and shall enter into the specified location at the specified time for teaching the courses clarified in the topic with teaching syllabus submitted in electronic version in advance before the assessment. In order to ensure the justice and openness of the assessment, examiners shall give on-site assessment and scores for the teaching. And it is the Certification Department to collect all the assessment opinions from examiners for approval or not. The whole teaching assessment will be recorded for archiving.

Distance Assessment:

In case examinees are not available for specified time and location, independent application for distance test of teaching shall be applied. The Certification Department shall contact the local office that having the access for distance test so as to organize on-site teaching assessment for these examinees. Based on on-site distance teaching assessment requirements, the whole teaching process will be recorded and transferred to the specified e-mail box, and it is the responsibility of examiners to take assessment for teaching, and then it is the Certification Department for collecting assessment opinions from examiners for approval on not.
